Forensic Collision Investigator (Full/Part Time) - 13/10/2025

Company Description

We are forensic experts specialising in collision investigation, video analysis, computer simulation, vehicle examinations, vehicle data downloads, and engineering failure analysis. Our team provides expert analysis and insights to assist in understanding and resolving issues related to vehicular incidents and engineering failures. Most of our work relates to high value civil claims.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Collision Investigator, working from home; however, part-time work is also a possibility. The Collision Investigator will be responsible for examining and analyzing vehicle collisions, conducting video analysis, computer simulations, and vehicle examinations. The investigator will also be involved in vehicle data downloads and potentially engineering failure analysis (depending on experience) to support comprehensive investigations and provide expert insights. The investigator is required to prepare court-compliant reports, discuss their findings with the relevant legal teams involved, produce joint reports, and give evidence in court.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Experience in collision investigation, video analysis, vehicle examinations, and vehicle data downloads
  • Experience with computer simulation and 3D reconstructions
  • Experience in engineering failure analysis (optional)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and on-site
  • Experience of writing court-compliant reports and giving evidence
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Ideally Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Forensics, or related field
